As Chief Business Officer, Scott leads on business and project development at the Future Cities Catapult. He oversees the Catapult’s engagement of key stakeholders, in particular those who can help grow the UK’s advanced urban services sector to be a global leader. In addition Scott’s team raises the profile of the Future Cities Catapult, delivers thought-provoking and engaging publications and events, and cultivates strong relationships with city governments in the UK and globally, as well as academia, large businesses, and high growth SMEs.

Previously, Scott developed Innovate UK’s investment case to set up a Catapult, and led the £35m Future Cities Demonstrator programme. Prior to that Scott co-founded and chaired Global Entrepreneurship Week and was CEO at Enterprise UK. A keen (but slow) runner, Scott is also the co-founder of RunHack, which aims to make cities more run-friendly through innovation.
